I am writing in regards to my dealings with Dennis Ott Builders over the last 43 years. In 1983, I bought five acres off of West Fork Rd. I knew of Dennis's excellent reputation and had him build my 7000 sq. ft. home. The final result was beyond my expectations. It was and still is beautiful. Denny and my wife, Marcia, worked very well together and designed the home. Throughout the years, Marcia was a huge fan of Denny. I really believe the construction is superior to other builders (6" interior walls vs. 4" walls), Over the years, if I ever had problems, and there were very few, Denny came right over to assess the issue. We have become close friends and have a great relationship. In 2014, my wife passed away. She would have never sold that house. She loved it with every ounce of her being, however, it was too large for just me. In 2017, I sold the home to a couple with young children, and they are thrilled with the home and the property. That year, I had Dennis Ott Builders (Jason Ott) build me a beautiful ranch home, again in Montfort Heights/White Oak area. It has crown molding in every room, a gorgeous stone fireplace, a peace covered/indoor porch, and I believe it is the best-looking home on the street. To anyone looking to build, I highly recommend Dennis Ott Builders. Their homes are of very high quality, and they are very honest builders. Also, they are excellent with communication.

This was the second home Dennis Ott Builders built for us. After 28 years in the first home, we had them do it again, and we couldn't be happier with that decision. Everyone involved in the process at Dennis Ott Builders took the time to get to know us, to understand what was important to us, and to make sure we were always well informed and happy with the progress. Ott Builders build a solid high quality house and are easy to work with especially the project manager Dave. Many of the subcontractors were easy to work with as well. Ott stands behind their work as they were quick to fix any issues that arose during the first year we owned the home.

We contracted with Dennis Ott Builders in 2014 to build us a custom ranch style home to replace our empty nester two story house. We worked with Dennis's team to design the living space for our needs. This was a very smooth process with a lot of good input and helpful suggestions to insure a good outcome. When it comes to the construction, Dennis Ott Builders does not cut corners. All of the building materials are high quality, and the work is done with the best building practices. Dennis's contractors are all skilled craftsmen and do quality work. In 2021 we had Dennis build us a screened in porch onto the back of our house. This work was also completed with the same high-quality craftsmanship as the original house. Overall, Dennis Ott Builders have a very professional team. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have a quality new home built.

I love this house. The intricate customization of this with the team was awesome. The team was very knowledgeable and the interior design partner was fantastic. Dave was very flexible and in tune with new ideas and concepts, adapting to our needs to customize everything from lighting, to brick, to creating unique options within each room of the house. The landscaping team that Ott Builders use is exceptional as well. Adapting the exterior of the home to fit with the entire look to bring the character of the house to life.

Dennis Ott Builders build truly fantastic homes! This was my first time building a home and was not quite sure what to expect, but I can honestly say that Dennis and Jason exceeded all of my expectations. They personally guided me through the entire process whether it was suggesting innovative designs or recommendations that would make my home more livable.
